2009 International Policy
RiskMetrics' core International corporate governance policy is used to analyze proposals on the proxy ballots of companies domiciled outside of the United States and United Kingdom. Our international policy guidelines cover more than 115 markets worldwide and take local market practices into account. Disclosure and transparency requirements, which vary widely across global markets, are a major focus of our core international policy.
2009 Canadian Policy
RiskMetrics' Canadian corporate governance policy is incorporated into its core International corporate governance policy described above. However, recognizing certain local market practices, annual policy updates for Canada are published separately.
